Mandarin Palace (Residence) by Kris Lin
2016 - 2017, Golden A' Interior Space and Exhibition Design Award Winner
The ancient Peach Blossom Land is a hidden utopia that attracts the attention of numerous scholars. The place has delicious smell of grass and trees, petals-covered ground, orderly-set houses and crisscross of paths. Now, Nanjing has a Mandarin Palace, which is comparable to the ancient Peach Blossom Land. Borrows the "poetic living" concept of the Land, the building passes mysterious, beautiful and livable qualities, and delivers a perfect combination of humanity and nature.
Design concept: In terms of the integrated space, the unique natural landscape is combined with the oriental elements of peach blossom, pebbles and grid pattern, as described in the Tale of the Peach Blossom Spring. By adjusting to local conditions, we create a comfortable and artistic conception to bring residentspeace in mind, so that they can enjoy a fairy moment. In the Peach Blossom Land, we can be isolated from the world and enjoy ourselves in a carefree atmosphere.
